My community service has included serving both as Mayor of Central Saanich and as a Director with the Capital Regional District in Victoria. My commitment to my community has enable me to be assist in developing Bike lanes in Greater Victoria and am a founding director of Greater Victoria Bike to Work Society and have been active with them for the past 17 years. One of my greatest personal achievements was completing IronMan Canada in Penticton in August 2005 with a time of 15hrs 27 minutes. I am married to a wonderful woman for the past 33 years and am proud parent of a son and daughter.
